Kohekohe Hockey

In the last three weeks my club team has played four games. We had two games in the first weekend, we played one-puke mens A and won 2-1, next we played indians A and won 7-2 and i scored my first goal of the season. the next weekend we played indians B and won 16-0 me and the goal keeper were the only players not to score, then last weekend we play newly formed waiapa united mens A and we won 7-0. So at the end of the first round my club came out on top of the table making then inter-city a competition and we have our first game against this weekend in hamilton.

Defining the difference & Why do these help.

Why Do These Help?

-Locking the Door: To prevent unauthorized access

-Locking the Keyboard: Prevent people from being able to type, this stops

them from writing, changing and deleting your information, passwords and
personal details.

-Locking the Workstation: To prevent theft, shutting down the work station,
requires login when you start up.

-Shutting Down the WorkstationRequires to log back in, with
a password, so it's safer.

Defining the Difference

-Copyright is the LAW/AGREEMENT someone breaches.

-Piracy is illegal copying.

-Individual Privacy = Personal details.

-Organization Confidently includes data used by the company.

-Always Recommended

-Legitimate software.

-Data security to protect privacy.

-Policies for conduct in the workplace (keeps the business covered).

Ensuring Data Integrity (Correct and Safe)

Back Up Techniques
-Back ups must be regular and on a schedule
Virus Protection Facility
    - A firewall monitors your own network and block unauthorized acces
from outside your computer, if a virus does get through anti virus
software can remove it form your computer.
Frequency of Saving
   - power cuts can stop you keeping your memory or computer because
you have not saved it or do not save frequently. Short term power
cuts still allow the system to keep running for at most around a week
UPS or Surge Protector
   - If a power surge happens it protects your computer

Threat To Files

1. Unauthorised Access
Hacking can be a problem when online as it can
ruin your files and put viruses on your computer
-Position of computer and use a password.
2. Internet & Email
The internet is a threat because of hacking and
        emails can send viruses.
-Worry about what sites you go on to and if they are legitimate.
-Dont open attachments unless you trust the person who sent them.
3. Viruses, Trojans & Spyware
-This is when you have unauthorized access such as
viruses and trojans use your computer spyware. Spyware
is a file downloaded from internet and grab all your password
and account numbers and sends them back to the writer. The
other type of virus is one that causes harm to system meaning you
cant write your files. A trojan is a hidden virus that pretends to be
another file  and when opened it ruins your files.
  4. Power Failure
Power failure can cause the loss of unsaved work.
-Corrupts files, ruins the machine and loses file when power is cut off.
5. Natural Disaster
Natural disasters can lead to data corruption and unauthorized access.
-Keep files in a high place, not on ground floors incase of flooding etc.
Have folders backed up on  several things.
6. Data Corruption
-A mix up within the file, which results in the computer not being able
to open it. This can be caused by any of the above.
     7. Peer to Peer Access
-Opening up acces to your machine with lime-wire to anyone on the
network making it easy for hacker to feed viruses and malware to your computer.
